Louis Van Gaal Confirmed As Manchester United Manager & Ryan Giggs As Assistant

Manchester United have appointedLouis van Gaalas their new manager following the sacking of David Moyes last month. AsSportsmailexclusively revealed, the Dutchman has replaced caretaker boss Ryan Giggs in the Old Trafford hot-seat at the end of the season, with the Welshman appointed assistant manager. Frans Hoek and Marcel Bout join the club as other assistant coaches, while Van Gaal – currently the manager of Holland and who becomes the club’s first foreign boss. Louis van Gaal succeeds David Moyes who lost his job in April. In a statement released this afternoon, the club said the 62 year old, who is currently Netherlands manager, will sign a three year contract with Manchester United.
